Become An Editor

An understanding and support for the concept of altruism is essential to work as an editor, so first become a member if you wish to edit the directory. Non-members may only submit site suggestions. Our main goal is to produce a useful resource for the web public. Altruistic websites are often made by individuals who have no funds to advertise or otherwise promote their activity and so are often hard pressed to compete with commercial ones, even if their sites are of higher quality. Inclusion in this directory is both an endorsement an a valuable source of increased public awareness.

The directory is special in its requirement that sites should exist for altruistic reasons. You should therefore make yourself familiar with the defining criteria of altruists.

The directory is currently being established and so we need editors who are very sensitive to the altruistic ideals to provide it with a good sense of direction, to build the top level hierarchy and to set the tone. Please enquire personally by email to the contact address at the foot of this page if you are interested in helping with this responsible job.
